It also made me think that the club were holding back as the carrot wasn't big enough last summer. Like when PV took over maybe they will have a bigger war chest this coming summer

We probably will have a bigger war chest but it may be generated by selling our major assets

I for one am not expecting to start the season with Anderson,Guehi,Eze and Olise all in our ranks.Possibly only two.

If we are to lose two of our major assets let’s hope it’s Guehi and Doucoure?

He comes across well and perhaps will get us winning games at home and scoring from dead balls. Players may want to stay if we start winning.

I think the most interesting thing is that he knew last Autumn that he was going to take over next season, so all the transfers in, must have been players he wanted, the big question we don't know is apart from Olise, dose any of the other big five , and i also include Johnstone in that have release clauses, if they do we have to concentrate on the ones that don't and replace the ones that do, hopefully it is only Olise.

Wilf went from 75M to nothing inside 2 years. There are other major benefits he brought to the table but we can’t repeat that scenario! Olise will be gone sooner or later (not because he isn’t fully committed) but it’s a FACT of footballing life these days.

Soule and Clarke and 10-15M looks good value to me!

I think OG anticipates the need to break a few eggs to make us a better more sustainable club!

Yes, when you put it like that it's a good deal and if he went to Italy it'd be easier to take although it would've been nice to see him and Munoz play together.

The only way he will get an offer of a big club is if he keeps us up. Right now that is a better headache than the one we find ourselves in.

I am going to enjoy the ride and hope the wave of positivity lifts the whole club back to the feeling late last season

We will stay up in confident of that we just need 2 more wins. What I’m saying is I’m worried he will go after this season. Might get a job offer and move on from us in the summer.

POTY last season and arguably the biggest contributing factor to our recent poor form?
