Not the best results. However, we can't always rely on the others to play for us. And not on point deductions either.

100% agree. It is well and truly in our own hands. My hope is those hands are more Johnston and less Henderson.

16th, as predicted. Not too difficult to imagine, we haven't offered anything to suggest that we were going to pick up many points. Also noted was other teams around us starting to pick up the occasional necessary point.
Funny how things have come to pass, but here we are, and it all begins from now.

Even if you discard Forest and Everton -all we have to hope is that Luton, Burnley and Sheffield keep losing - thankfully they continue to keep doing so thank goodness!

I reckon we’ll be ok.

Everton next which for me can go either way.

Then In the following 5 games

Burnley
Spurs
Luton
Newcastle
Forest.

If and it’s a big if we can sort out the circus that is us at the moment and get wins against Burnley, Luton and Forest. Well, things would look a lot better.
Feel like Burnley are out of it but real, proper 6 pointers against Everton, Luton and Forest.

As Ferguson said… squeeky bum time

Luton are posing a threat and we entertain them shortly.
Agree with you as regards the other two,who look as good as down already.

It'll be interesting to see how the result against Sheffield Utd affects Luton. They had built up some momentum prior to that game and as Alex Ferguson once said, that's what it's all about. They probably have the weakest squad, but they have a great team spirit. If United were to thump them today then their heads could drop and they may start to struggle for points again. Personally I hope Luton stay up (so long as it's not at our expense), but they have a really tough run before they play us...

United (h)
Liverpool (a )
Villa (h)

SheffU home to Brighton today.

Houlgate red card on 10 minutes serious foul play.

Very serious too; it was a horrible foul. If Brighton go for it they could really rattle a few here.

Luton 0-2 down after 8 mins.

I really like there manager and hoped they stay up but it gets us safer.
Can’t believe I’m saying this and it makes me feel a bit queasy… come on Utd.

Oh god shot me now. I think I’d rather us go down than ever say or type that again.
