With Hughes now injured as well, guess this could be the team :-

Henderson

Wharton

Ayew
Schlupp
Edouard

Mateta

This is obviously open to (lively) debate, personally, i wouldn't risk Franca for this game, he'd get chewed by them thugs. Thoughts?

Yes em13 , my thoughts exactly its not a match to put in a slight framed player when the like of that bloke with the masive Easter island head (James Tarkowski) kicking lumps out of our players and constantly getting away with it . They are a bunch of thugs the new version of Watford . Im glad Eze and Olise are not up for this one they would get kicked all over the park , however if they try it with out Columbian players they could be wearing a different neck tie going home . Going on last nights performance i reckon we will at least get a draw and might even nick it .

This could be heaven or this could be hell .

Cannot understand why Henderson is still preferred.Should surely be dropped for this critical match ??

I agree, and the media keep reporting Johnstone is likely to leave in the summer. Sounds like something has gone on behind the scenes. Shame. I much prefer Johnstone

Having felt like I'd been punched in the guts after last night I am going to try really hard to be positive. In terms of putting distance between ourselves and the bottom clubs a win against Everton is more valuable than one against Chelsea anyway.
A nail biting 0 1 smash n grab win.

Is that bad news then?

Nah, it's just another of old Roy's stalwarts he can't use, but will use the excuse of all the injuries, which tbf, are mounting up.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

No changes to the starting line up (unless enforced by injury) rolled by a dour defensive display that will end with defeat from a set piece. Or two.

3-0.

If we keep doing the same things - we will end up with the SAME result.

Unfortunately, they will out muscle us, out run us and out compete us.

Can only think of a 3 - 0 victory to them.

Unless we can get Eze back soon (forget about Olise because Roy's idiotic decision put paid that) we are on one route only, downwards.

We can only hope that Forest and Everton get points deductions for FFP, and that Forest and Luton go on very bad runs.

This is what our season has turned into, hoping on other teams being in worse state than us.

Never more has this season highlighted how many below average players we have in the squad. A few stellar players mask the poor quality.

I am sure Jamie carragher said last night Everton are appealing and it might be reduced to 6 pts. Same time forest might get docked 6 pts. Such a tough end of season! Thank the footballing gods we have a head start on the other teams below

I am going with a 1-1 which would suit us. Then hope Guehi and Eze are back for Burnley!
