Sorry but you think all the names on that list would be worse than Roy? So because Roy did well last season he should stay on. Things change and we don’t have last years Roy. We have end of of his first stint and England Roy. I did not say that and resent people trying to manipulate what i say. Later on you try to have a go because I do not agree with the majority,a few Germans stood out from the majority and were against Hitler,a minority decision is not necessarily a wrong one, show some respect. Edited by beak (04 Feb 2024 3.57pm) Was not having a go at all. I would just like to know what those in favour of Roy see that he brings to the table. And bringing Germans and hitler into the thread… well I never saw that one coming. As Anchor Man said… that escalated really fast. And regarding respect. I have no clue who you are and respect is earned not a given. But sincerely no offence was meant.

I mentioned Hitler and the Germans to illustrate that a minority view can be correct, why not mention it as it is a fine example of keeping your head whilst everyone else is losing all sense of perspective. The board chose Roy and even though things are not going as we wish, i for one do not think changing horses mid stream is the best way forward.I would like Parish to see Roy on Monday morning and ask how we go forward from here, secondly, offer help from the board if there is anything they can do and thirdly tell Roy that he will see out the rest of the season. That last sentence gives the club stability. My personal wish is the very best for CPFC. If Roy weren't our manager and on that list, how many people would be clamouring to get him back?

Why has it got to be a manager thats out of work (recently sacked) If RH was to be replaced I would hope we could entice someone on an upward curve to take the job ,not someone on a downward one

We could end up paying almost 10m I remember when we got Pardew didn't we pay close to 4m to Newcastle. Many of those managers on the list would have no interest in coming to Palace and also would be too expensive. Even Big Sam wouldn't be interested he was happy to get out of the club before mentioning many times even backed up by the likes of Pardew how the club is run (Players super chummy with SP and running to him)

If we’re playing Fantasy Football Manager then you might soon be able to add Pochettino to that list.
