Richards to full back, Munoz to holding midfielder. Job done.

Will that leave any round pegs in round holes?
Of course, Keeper - now where can we move Henderson to if we want to put Mateta in goal?

Steve Parish

"He has experience at the highest level for club and country, and he possesses an impressive record going forwards for a full-back"

5 Goals in 17 games, he's got an impressive record compared to our strikers.

Should take Roy all of one training session to knock that forward instinct out of him.

Finally some good news as hopefully this will go some way to sorting our right back issues.

Just need to get a decent striker in, cover for Doucoure and a left winger and we're golden.

The trouble with computers, of course, is that they're very sophisticated idiots

If he played well in international football he'll be okay. But he'll need time to acclimatise and learn the EPL way. He'll need a few weeks. Love Joel Ward and a great servant, but, hope I don't see him again except on the bench.

It was interesting to note Parish saying that the club were:

"delighted to welcome a player of Daniel's quality and character".

Reading the translation of the interview Muñoz gave on the Palace website, he came across as someone who had his priorities in life right.

Character is important when it comes to building a team (football or otherwise - just look at the shenanigans at Man U).

Hopefully, Muñoz will settle quickly and become our first choice RB/RWB.

For those wondering whether or not he'll feature tonight, he may not have signed early enough to be allowed to feature. Timne will tell.

Isn't it 12.00 midday the cut off time on the day?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Character was always something Dougie was insistent on when he was manager wasn’t it. I think we have a lot of good characters in the squad, this guy could give the place a big lift

It’s posted elsewhere he is our new no.12 and will probably make his debut at some point against Brighton rather than tonight.
