This result will not appease our supporters one jot and the animus will continue unabated.

The Arsenal game was the first one where I felt like Roy had lost the players. With Sheffield Utd showing more fight under Wilder I am both genuinely worried about tomorrow night but also excited about the uncertainty. If Olise isn't back I have a horrible feeling we're going to lose this though. 1-2 to the Blades. Roy gone on Wednesday.

0/2 to Sheff Utd, better team spirit, and more determined, hope i am wrong

Sheff Utd were heavily defeated by Brighton in the FA Cup at the weekend losing 5-2 at Home.

Only 6 of the team which started in their previous game (2-2 Home to W,.Ham) started against Brighton. In fact 4 of the starters in the Brighton encounter were introduced off the bench against W.Ham.

One of the starters against Brighton, Rhys Norrington-Davies, attended Royal Russell School in Croydon and played for Merstham as a youth.

So Willo, what's your prediction

So Willo, what's your prediction

I have already predicted 2-0 but with each passing hour my positivity drains away and I am less confident of a victory.
I suspect by tomorrow my dial will rest on 'Abject defeat'.

As a mere statement of reality, I have reached the point where I am capable of viewing things far more objectively as my emotional pool has been tapped and sapped of any will.

If we are to beat SHU, I will of course primarily think, 'thank f**k, we needed that'.

If however we are to draw or lose, I shall switch my thinking toward 'There's no more hiding from this, something has to be done' and await response from the ownership.

I don't think an unsatisfactory result, albeit luck etc can always play their part in games, will merely prompt a bit of fan anger. I suspect it will tell us all (board and fans) exactly just how deep our problems run and may as well be represented by 100ft neon lettering over Selhurst Park saying 'It's time for changes'.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Simple we have to win, any other result is not acceptable if we are going to survive this term then we have to beat all the teams below us as a minimum, no if's or buts!

It is within the realms of possibility that a banner will be displayed at the Holmesdale tomorrow night.
