Yep, no way would Potter take on this mess.

Unfortunately I cant see a decent manager wanting to touch us with a barge pole.

We are only going to be able to attract people who already have a shattered reputation.

The real question to ask ,considering the club is in a perilous situation no matter who should take blame is. Who the hell that could seriously make a difference, is going to commit almost certain managerial suicide?

After all the ,it’s his fault it’s ,their fault. The real question to ask ,considering the club is in a perilous situation no matter who should take blame is. Who the hell that could seriously make a difference, is going to commit almost certain managerial suicide?

Just get another short-term fix to keep us up. One of the usual suspects. It’s not like the football could get any worse. What we then do in the summer is another matter.

I can’t say relegation bothers me too much, as a palace fan of a more mature age I’ve been there done that several times. One way or another it certainly freshens things up and I’ll probably be looking forward to next season more than if we stay up.

I can’t say relegation bothers me too much, as a palace fan of a more mature age I’ve been there done that several times. One way or another it certainly freshens things up and I’ll probably be looking forward to next season more than if we stay up.

I have to say things at present do look bleak, SP & DF have brought in some good players recently; Olise, Guehi, etc etc. The problem as I see it is in the short term RH appointments, we bring in the players for the long term and the manager/coach always seems to be very short term!! We definitely need to add to the squad and again only IMO need to start blending in this very young alleged talent we have. Think we all know RH is not the man to do this!!! One very concerned Palace fan COYP

I personally would not want Potter, but where does he expect to be given the managers Job, none of the big seven, he will have to go down the ladder, Wolves, Brighton again, Spammers?

Yep he'll have to settle for a little lower. But this is not an attractive gig at the mo IMO. Half a squad, no funds etc. After the Chelsea dabarkele, he'll want something that feels more settled.

Yep he'll have to settle for a little lower. But this is not an attractive gig at the mo IMO. Half a squad, no funds etc.

After the Chelsea dabarkele, he'll want something that feels more settled.

IMO he was left to think he was getting people this last window , and we all know it if it was promised it didn’t happen. If any manager is going to take this job with the full expectation of success, then it must be obvious it can not be on the basis of just taking over the shackles Hodgson would have shed by then. That being so Parish will have to be already talking all financial aspects of this to someone interested to even talk to him , the promises will already have to have some meat on them regards who would and will come . Outside of this any changes made will not be enough to alter any thing much ,,including how much failure contained in the new man’s CV.
