It's kind of ironic to me that leftists argue for equality and equity and all the rest of that b0lllocks yet will grasp at any advantages something like a birthright gives them. Having different different opinions about what a government does is one thing...as we know I have those myself on things like covid and wars. But Steely clearly has a problem with this country far beyond politics. Considering the country gives him a free lunch that he wouldn't be getting elsewhere.....I don't know, I just don't understand....Maybe Steely was born here but not of here. There is a prevailing myth that Islamic immigrants are "swarming" in from various Muslim countries and making up the majority of the non-EU immigrant population. However, the vast majority who come and stay are from India - mainly non Muslim - then (some way down in number) Romania and China. I think your theory that this is because those 3 people you name are of Indian origin is codswallop. However, I do question Braverman's attack on a Muslim swarm (or whatever she said) given the sizeable majority are from where she originates and who observe her religion. Are we seeing some sub continental internecine thing going on here?

BTW, back on post, cancelling a meeting with a premier from a country we are close to over this issue is sheer bl00dy madness. What did the government hope to achieve? Some sort of patriotic/populist bonus point from the electorate. An act of diplomatic vandalism.
