So where did this come from ? Ratcliffe does not have any shares in Manchester United as of now, so why would he be spouting off about who he will employ if he gets his 25% share of the club. It is well known that the likes of Neville have been calling out for a change of ownership and that they need a Sporting / Technical Director . Why someone of the stature of Ratcliffe would say such a thing at this point in time is beyond me.
I put it down to click bait initiated by Manure supporters continuing their campaign against their current regime.COYP

In 2021 Man Utd poached our highly regarded and successful head of youth recruitment Jamahl Jarrett, someone whom Dougie worked very closely with.

Has it been a success for them ? Cannot see that this relates to the so called Ratcliffe statement but I take your point we have people that others admire.COYP

If there is any truth in this then it proves Ratclffe know sweet F.A. about football and if he does employ Freedman I will chuck in a tube of Smarties (trade mark) to sweeten the deal.

Think you are being unfair on Ratcliffe. I suspect Brailsford knows a fair bit about sport recruitment

He was very successful for us, he assembled the most successful and talented U18 squad we have had for years, many of whom have now progressed to the U21’s & U23’s. He also had South London sewn up in terms of attracting the players to Palace because of his style, interaction and reputation with the talent pool. Man Utd. clearly recognised that and took him on to divert that talent to them.

He and Dougie worked very closely and Jarrett may well have recommended DF to Ratcliffe.

I'm sure if it gets offered it then he will go. Too big an opportunity to miss.

I would not be bothered in seeing him go either. Last summer was a complete debacle with the exception of Lerma.

20m on an injury prone second choice keeper we didn't need
(I see Whitworth has been called up by England u20 Squad).
20m + on an untried Brazilian who came in injured
4m (poss) on very suspect centre back we didn't need.

Failure to address the centre forward issue again
Failure to address the right back issue again
Failure to address the left wing position after losing Zaha.

The media raves about us bringing in Guehi, Olise, Anderson but that was all in one window. Have a look at the other windows.

Sorloth, Erdal Rakip, Jaroslaw Jach for starters.

If I was offered more money to go to a big company near my home. I would absolutely do a "runner".

He lives in St Albans, hardly Manchester

I accept and recognise his ability but I cannot believe he will have been in discussion with a person wanting to invest in the club , but as yet has not , about who he could recommend to be brought in as Director of Football. My question really was how has he performed for Manchester United. Either way the truth or otherwise will all be revealed if and when Ratcliffe becomes a shareholder in Manure.COYP

sounds like clickbait rubbish, if it is correct Ratcliffe is only putting 25% in to Moan Utd, would assume the other 75% would have some say on this?

Sometimes I set out for Ludlow
Sometimes I end up in Chepstow

Possibly, after the game yesterday I'm very happy for Dougie to leave, the gaps created by non or poor recruitment were obvious. We need a right back and a competent centre forward. Tho'Doucoure having an injury showed, they ran all over the area he plays,Hughes stank the place out.I was really shocked that was NOT a Roy team.

Does he? I thought he lived in Cheshire and don't forget that his son is in the Manchester United academy
