I just don’t get the JSR love in. I know he’s only had cameo appearances so far but Roy sees him in training all the time. If he was good enough he’d play.

Could be we just need something to pin our hopes and dreams on as our transfer policy is hardly inspirational.
Not complaining though, we are now an established premier league club. Fingers crossed at somepoint we find the right fit for our next manager and kick on…

… like I said it’s nice to have something to pin hopes and dreams on when your a palace fan

Exactly. Didn't take Roy much persuading to return to his preferred four defenders, three defensive midfielders set-up, playing gamely for a 0-0. Bah, wasted opportunity t start with even just one youngster.

My question is just how bad does Ward have to perform not to be played and give Richards a chance..??

Only thing I can think he must be excellent in training coz he sure as hell ain’t deserving his position based on match day performances..!!

And he’ll be captain again - that really bugs me having your worst player captain - just sends the wrong message for me..!!

Roy called out the youngsters last week but said nothing about his most experienced player and captain turning it into his own net (again) when under no real pressure..!!

Who says Roy doesn’t have his favourites..!!

Well said, clearly the coaching team know best, he clearly is not ready to step up and should really be out on loan honing his match craft rather than making up a matchday squad which will do him no good whatsoever!

My point exactly.
If I was Richards I would be asking for a transfer asap

Precisely. From Ward's perspective, he really needs to have a solid game today to dispel the growing criticism.

Well there I was hoping Rak=Sakyi woukd get a run and he isn't even in the squad

Usual story of playing for 0-0 and then throw Eze on for 20 minutes. Burnley have a wretched defence but we won't challenge them with Hughes and Schlupp as 'creators'

From what we've seen of RS he's not ready yet ... his time will come. I'd be very happy with 0-0 until the 70th minute and then give Eze 20 minutes.

Don't worry. I've just heard on Radio London that we've "weathered that opening storm."

strangely we are still very surprisingly allowed an opinion with a vast number of caveats,if the person on Radio London feels that way he has apparently a right to say so.
