happy with the points total to date, but we have Newcastle and Spurs next so let's see how things look at the end of October.

We have ridden our luck quite a bit in recent games, and these things tend to turn over time.

Then it is Burnley away and Everton at home. 2 massive games.

I think mid Nov we will have a clearly picture of where will may finish this season.

I have just seen one stat which I'm not sure whether to be proud of or not
Since we returned to the Premier League, we have been involved in 34 goalless draws - which is more than any other club in the competition.

You seem surprised don’t forget how long Roy’s been our manager, we’ve also had Sam ‘respect the point’ Allardyce and Tony Pulis in charge. All have done a great job for us, but they’re also all known for organisation and defence first

Not only do we need to clear the physio room,we need Franca to be as good as his billing. Finally a few astute signings in the winter window, which means Freedman must not go visiting potential signings in Hospital.

When you look at the games, we should have beaten Forest but had a very depleted side. We should have got something at Villa but were cheated by a dodgy penalty.
In general, the results have been about par.

We will have a better indicator of our position come January.
We will certainly have a torrid time for the coming weeks with so many star players out.

Newcastle away and Spurs could put a big dent in our goal difference. We just need to try and keep it respectable until our new treatment table coffee morning club loses some of its members.

Great tally considering the injury situation. Just makes it all the more frustrating that we didn't invest a bit more on the squad. We've got a very solid core and would have been great if we'd been able to add a couple more to it. Oh well, we live in hope for the January window... although it's a notoriously difficult window to get deals over the line

We’re 9th, safely ensconced between Newcastle and Man Utd.

A poor/lightweight transfer window has left us light on numbers and we have enough injuries to warrant labelling it a ‘crisis’ on top of that. Still got a win at old Trafford and as others have said, 3 clean sheets in the last 3 games.

We’ve a good run of games in November with a very difficult Xmas period however we’ve started well. With players returning from injury we should be looking forward to a comfortable 2024.

with 4 VERY poor sides at the bottom i think we only need another 3 points to confirm safety.

Happy with the start we've made esp with the injuries. Lucky Guehi and Anderson have stayed fit as they are as brilliant as the 2 numpties up front are cr@p!

Look around us and we’re doing just fine…BUT
Roy has limited options for selection
The key it seems to me, is to get the wounded fit to play quicker
How wounded are they?
But for me the bigger question is…why do these super paid youngsters get injured so frequently….
How about they sacrifice their ridiculous wages when they are not fit to play!

Ah yes, there's a policy that should encourage the best youngsters to join the club.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Guehi wasn't fit for the Aston Villa game where we turned a late 1-0 lead into a 1-3 defeat via a defensive collapse and a poor refereeing decision.

Given where we are with the squad limitations and injuries, we are doing well.

Its obviously frustrating as it felt like there were wins to be had against Forrest, Villa and Fulham.

What bodes well, it that we doing well defensively as a unit. Add in 2/3 flair players to this team and we'll hopefully look a more dynamic unit.

Don't "Rock the Boat".

Of course, there have only been eight other teams who have been in the division for the same number of games since then and they will tend to be the more successful and higher-scoring ones. Man U, with 32, are next - down to Spurs and Man City on 15.

Everton have the most draws in total over these years, 100, followed by us and Man u on 95

Exactly! Shows how important it is that he and Anderson stay fit.
