Gutted about Eze, Casamira challange? So, Johnstone, Ward, Anderson, Guehi, Mitchell: Hughes, Dacoure: Schlupp, Jairo,Ayew: Mateta. That's what I think, tho knowing Roy, he could well spring a surprise. Edited by eagleman13 (03 Oct 2023 1.49pm) Edited by eagleman13 (03 Oct 2023 1.50pm) Edited by eagleman13 (03 Oct 2023 1.50pm)

I think with Eze out we can afford to risk giving JRS a chance to start in the PL. I know he hasn't impressed in the cup, but desperate times and all that. He could play wide right, Ayew on the left and Schlupp behind Mateta. The only other option without changing formation is to play Jairo, but he always looks a second off the pace in the PL. My daughter joked that we should just replace Eze with Eze!

This means Roy can stick with established players by bringing Richards in at centre half.

2-0 Forest. We shouldn't underestimate them and our current injury situation is shocking

i did, on here, predict a 0-1 for us at Old Trafford.
when Man City were effectively the best team on the planet, we were one of the only teams to beat them in their own back yard. We are also capable of losing an important game to Tranmere Rovers. Edited by PalazioVecchio (03 Oct 2023 3.57pm)

Edited by PalazioVecchio (03 Oct 2023 3.57pm) Forest have signed some very good players and this is going to be a tough game. I’m going 1-1 draw.

Richards is a decent call. Edited by eagleman13 (03 Oct 2023 4.26pm)

Eze injured. Front line of Ayew, Mateta & Schlupp, possibly with Riedewald in behind. Cant see us scoring even against Forest. 0-0 at best. Without Zaha, Olise and Eze I am not sure how we create a goal from open play. I hope Steve Cooper doesn’t see this, he’ll be s***ting a brick

A backs to the wall park the bus Royball extravaganza, with Mateta, a clear yard offside, hitting the winner on 96 minutes. More VAR controversy, Karma works in mysterious ways say the MOTD panel.

With the news about Eze, I fear my 0-0 prediction may be over-optimistic
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |
