Starmer unsurprisingly has nothing to say after meeting Macron, only word salad

Blair's name popping up in the media today as having facilitated the recent Macron meeting.

The stitch up is on.

Suspect it has been every since 2017. Corybn scared the s*** out people given how well he did in that GE. And if you notice, that result is barely ever discussed. The forgotten GE.

Ever since that result, the priority was to first ditch Corbyn, in which Starmer played the leading role with his championing of the utter insanity of Labours second referendum manifesto pledge, then get Starmer as the next leader, which he achieved by telling some WHOPPING lies (again never mentioned in polite company) and now meeting with the likes of Macron, all brokered by the Dark Lord himself.

Stitch up indeed.

With Sunak the other side of the coin.

I voted for Brexit and although disappointed with how it has (or hasn’t) been implemented I would still vote for it tomorrow.

But what is worrying is that a journalist on Talk TV yesterday (whom I think was a brexit supporter) said that the deal is due to be renegotiated in 2025 anyway as if the deal that BJ got for us was just a temporary one.

My understanding is that most trade deals have a review period a few years later so that both parties can take the opportunity to fix any problems. So I don't see anything sinister in that as such.

It's what the politicians do with the review that matters.

Brexit was about choosing our laws for our lands.
Even with negotiation that can still be. I’m sure the eu have lost something without us in.

'Climate delay is climate denial'.

'Rishi Sunak's negligence will cost thousands of lives around the world and cause irreparable harm to our planet.

We need a real alternative that takes on the fossil fuel industry, transforms our economy and secures a Green New Deal'.

Jeremy Corbyn, on form today.

Come on Sir Keir, give it some wellie.....

Most of the changes bring us in line with EU policy. As you think the sun shines out of the EU's you know what, I thought you would be pleased.

As for "cost thousands of lives around the world and cause irreparable harm to our planet". It is a ludicrous statement. Even if the UK went zero carbon tomorrow, it would make b-all difference.

Out of interest what do you anticipate Starmer doing any different from what Sunak is pushing now?

Genuinely interested because I really see very little in Starmer other than somebody who is nohing more than a mouth piece of Blair & Co.

So what do you think will change? (ignoring my own rantings about the Brexit stab in the back I am convinced is coming).
