I’m not sure where any of them would fit into our team other than on the bench. Realistically we required a younger better than Ward / Clyne RB and someone to challenge Mitchell at LB. Matteta may have been going until that hatrick on Tuesday night but unlike others I feel he is worth a place up front or on the bench. After Tuesday I hope he starts tomorrow. Not saying he would start for Man City and those other multi millionaire clubs but with 10 other world class players alongside him (also Edouard in that statement) he would get the service for more goals as proved against lesser opposition last Tuesday. We also have Olise, Hughes and our new Brazilian coming back into the squad. With Lerma, Holding and Henderson I’m okay with our squad and realistically it’s about mid table position and good cup runs for our team. There’s no way we could sign a Haaland or Kane and never will.
