The wind is providing some comedy. It'll be interesting to see if it helps or hinders us second half. With Olise out JRS has a chance to stake a claim for the first team and a goal will help his confidence.

HT 1-0 Not bad, wind has played a major part. Ahamada has been the outstanding Palace player this half with JRS doing his cause no harm whatsoever. Thommo is our very weak link, Richards, Jairo & Clyne are having to bale him out on several occasions. Mateta, hmmm, so slow but, tbf has put himself about but still cant challenge to go & head a ball. Eze has a great free kick & seems to have linked up very well with Ahamada, defends very well too. TM has been better since Barnet, linking up better & making forward runs. Doucoure, what an underestimated star. IMO, brilliant break up play & a quick often short pass to eliviate danger. Well, thats my assessment of the 1st half

Ahamada, looking very useful, JSR doing himself no harm, a really good work out for all of the players. Riedavald , playing really well, hard to know what has stopped him excelling more than he has.
