The dilapidated parts of the stadium should be renovated first. The club needs to increase revenue and make itself more appealing to players. I'm sure that after the new strand is completed there will be a plan to renovate other parts of the ground, but this takes time and money. It's always fun to imagine at least. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (16 Jul 2023 12.14pm) Palace has spent £30m on its academy over the last few years so money is not an issue. I would say the quality of the toilets is irrelevant to the players.

Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (16 Jul 2023 12.14pm) On a scale of 1 to 10, AW 3, Carrow Road away fans section 9 as just one example The players have nothing to do with the disgrace that is the AW for a club of ten years PL standing. Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

My comment is regarding improving the toilets om the AW which will cost maybe £50k, less than 0.2% of what we've spent on the academy. If you've bought a card for £26k it like saying you can no longer afford your weekly food shop. Maybe you need to re-read my original post. The fact is the AW facilities are a disgrace and can surely be rectified/partly improved regardless of the new stand build.

I noticed the Arthur was closed for the friendly coming up. Wondered if it was being slightly done up, or has it been condemned as unsafe, lost its certificate or something? It wouldn't seem out of the question.

I was sceptical about this whole new stand malarky but now it's obvious 1 x Guehi + 1 x Joachim+ 1 x Doucoure = One new stand!

If building the new stand means improving the toilet facilities I'm all in favour.
