If it was a Viera signing, and given he is French, i wonder if Strasbourg will look to buy him especially if he is down the pecking order at Palace.
He did look to have a bit of pace about him from the dreaded youtube hilights and it is a position that players will improve as their get more playing time.

It seems we got Lokonga in as a deep lying midfielder and Ahamada as more box-to-box. Must be decent given his CV but looked a bit of a headless chicken in the short snaps I saw - I preferred Lokonga personally but he looks Burnley bound. Ahamada gives us great depth in midfield, just need to improve full backs, find a Zaha replacement (Mourra or Danjuma Bosman or loan?) and get a striker better than Che Adams. I still think the sale of Guehi will fund the striker.

In my opinion, he looks like a Gallagher clone, great engine, passing ok, but i think he will quickly improve this season, with him, Lerma, Doucoure, Hughes, Eze, Jairo and Ozoh i think another CM is the last thing we need.
