I'm now retired but just before I leapt I spent a lot of time on standby. I was asked to join a diversity teams meeting to make up the numbers.

I was gob smacked when the white liberals began to discuss how people should be punished for failing to use a persons preferred pronouns, in person and on email and for using racially insensitive language.

I sat open mouthed.

A black lady asked if she could say something. She stated that before she joined she was nervous as to how she would be received but that she had never encountered anyone that was nothing but respectful. And she continued and as for using someones wrong pronoun's is that really a punishable offence? Especially in person.

They continued to discuss how to enforce the above. I signed out.

These people get paid for this!!!!

I heard someone say the other day that you should take away citizenship from every male until they have either done national service or two years in a trade.....obviously the youngsters coming through.

Said that was the only way you start bringing some genuine masculinity back.

Rather than rely on a "report" in the Telegraph, maybe the actual Tribunal Judgement would be more instructive:-

Mr Powell doesn't appear to come out of this too well. He comes across as a man on a very strange mission, yet the Tribunal go to great lengths to be patient with him. That at least two of the contributors to the thread seem to have sympathy for his position is unsurprising, even if the Tribunal didn't.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.
