We paid £12 million for Richards a year ago so maybe we already have our replacement for Guehi. He clearly wants regular first team football, hence his move to Torino last up.

We will only be able to offer him that if we let Guehi or Andersen go. I' ve already nailed my colours to that mast by saying we should take the profit on Andersen whilst he still of value.

If we have made a bid of that magnitude for a defender then it can only mean we are going to replace either Andersen or Guehi. The reason I say that, is that we only ever spend that sort of money on a starting 11 player as opposed to a squad filler.
