no way he will wait for the Tories to be marmalised at the election then come back as the Messiah to breathe life back into the party and lead them into the next election

I cannot see Central Office permitting him to stand as a Tory candidate again.

If CCO dictates selection of candidates against the wishes of the local constituency association they will have gone fully Corbyn.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
