A shame about JM but Luka should have been long gone. Hopefully there are replacements in view but never to be relied upon with Mr Parish, who, even after 11 years at the top table, still has a Championship 'recruitment' policy, everything on the cheap. You really are clueless, Parish isn’t the major shareholder, but CEO so why do you expect him to fund everything? 10 years in the Premier speaks volumes for the recruitment policy.

Luka was a vital cog in our machine and played a significant role in helping us to retain our PL position. He deserves gargantuan plaudits for his sterling efforts. He leaves with my very best wishes for his contribution to the cause and I wish him every success for the future.

We were fortunate to have Luka and Jimmy Mac together at the peak of their careers, they provided the solid platform from which we could operate, now into our 11th season in the PL.

Luka a master from the penalty spot. Very sorry to be losing him, and of course Macca. We'll struggle to replace them, it's a tricky one, do you rely on the tried and tested or take risks. Will miss them. COYP

Has been a fantastic servant for the club. We're going to be busy looking for midfielders this summer I think!

i loved Luka in his early days. But we need to be more ruthless when players go off the boil. Luka has been miles off the pace, of the Prem, for quite some time. if i was a Championship manager i wouldnt buy him. After googling him, i discover he is only 32....which strikes me as a bit young to be looking so jaded. Can Luka resurrect like the Phoenix ? remember Jason Puncheon. The club is more important than any one player. thank you Luka for the loyal service and maybe we will see you in management one day. Edited by PalazioVecchio (27 May 2023 10.07am)

Loved him in the early days. Did the simple thing in a tidy way and could time a tackle. Good luck. Yes it’s a shame he lost that ability, once he wasn’t tucking the untold penalties we got away and he started giving the ball away so much in dangerous positions he was a fraction of the player. Good luck to him though, we had a decent couple of seasons out of him
