It's like Germany in the 1930s.

Harsh result. But the little darlings were whizzing around the roads, no licence, insurance, protective gear (helmets).
Responsibility probably lies a lot closer to home than the police.

And the rioters torched a disabled woman's car. Utter pondlife.

But we live in an age where everything is someone else's fault.

As far as I am aware with the police airwave radios they have gps on them, so they should be able to work out where the vehicle/officers were in relation to the accident location.
My Nan grew up in Ely in the 1930's was a total toilet back then apparently, doesnt appear to have got any better. Think of a larger New Addington with lots of social issues.

Sometimes I set out for Ludlow
Sometimes I end up in Chepstow

I was surprised when a report said the ebike cost 4000 quid. The details of the accident will emerge, the video seems to show two riders on a small bike without helmets

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

and not designed to have a passenger, the legal requirements for these bikes needs to be changed asap, currently anyone over 14 can use one and they can go to nearly 30mph.

A coroner's court would probably return a verdict of misadventure

Does anyone suspect that the 4k electric bike might not have been owned by the two teenagers

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

The Welsh first minister has accused the UK government of creating the poor social conditions that formed the backdrop to the Cardiff riots by systematically eroding community life, public services and citizens’ incomes.

Mark Drakeford, who represents the Ely area where the riots broke out on Monday night after the deaths of two teenage boys, said public services and people’s standards of living had declined there during 13 years of Conservative rule.

Not excusing the behaviour, mind.

The Welsh Parliament run most of the government of Wales - surely they are responsible - if governments are in fact responsible.

Well he would say that, wouldn't he

General opinion seems to be Ely has been a crime ridden sh1thole since it was built way back.
