Probably explains why he always looks a tad lost and bemused when he's on the pitch.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Edouard was found guilty of driving without a valid licence and insurance. He was given eight points, a £660 fine, and ordered to pay £100 in costs and a £264 victim surcharge.

s*** Steve should fine him more for playing as striker but having no f***ing idea

This guy is a complete numpty from head to toe.He is afraid of the ball & afraid to get a license to drive a car.

What’s his excuse for both -
As a striker in the Prem you need to know where to be, how to have a first touch, strike the ball & harass defenders

As a driver in any country apart from Antarctica you need a license & insurance

Steve this bloke is a liability get rid now !!!!!!!!!

Forever Palace Proud

People keep attacking palace strikers but are not using brain has to be a reason why so many are not doing well yet they leave and do well.

could it be something to do with not being given any service or maybe because they are spending a lot of energy/time closing people down.

Take a look at the stats for assists from palace players the people who should be giving service example Wilf 2 assists.

Edouard has 2 as well if you factor in minutes played to assists and goals he would have more then Wilf this season

football is universal language is not that big of a deal also others in the club can speak to him anyway not a valid excuse.

It's inexcusable for someone to have lived in Great Britain for 5 years and not have learnt the language. That's 20% of his entire life. It's different if it's someone who's migrated and has an insular life with their family and does a menial job and goes home each night after 8 hours of minimum wage. He's paid £70,000 a week! You'd expect him to be giving more to the cause. I don't care if there are numerous French-speakers within the squad. There's just no way he can operate to his full potential if there's a language barrier.

I realise there are hundreds of players in this scenario. But others make the effort, and it's surely not too much to ask, when they're paid so much.

I've backed him for virtually the entirety of his time here, based mostly on the 2 goals on his debut. But the reality is, when he plays, he's barely noticed. Hardly gets any chances, doesn't really put himself about. The ONLY caveat I'd give him, is that like Ayew, he would play better in Wilf's position.

He needs to do something different this summer if he is going to improve. I suspect he'll just do what he's always done, and hope it magically falls into place. Which it won't. And then we're stuck with our 2nd highest paid player being unsellable.

So if I think that two of our current strikers are crap then that makes me an idiot. I can live with that.

1) They have driving licences in France.
2) They have compulsory car insurance in France.
3) They have speed limits and cameras in France.
Language is no excuse. Most of us have hired cars in countries where English is not the native language.
I can't understand why he got off so lightly. Motoring fines are usually earnings related. Maybe the licence was a technicality ie just run out.
Don't even start me on the football!!

Wish he could show some speeding in the box. He sounds like a wrongun. Paid thousands a week yet cant sort out insurance. I suspect his claim to not speaking very good English has been exagerated in court to try and explain his stupidity.
Oh well they cant all be good signings.
