I am assuming you are referring to Armel Bella-Kotchap whom Southampton signed from VFL Bochum for £11 Mill.

I recall reading last year, and discussing with a chum, that reports from Germany suggested the Bella-Kotchap was physically capable and a real handful for strikers, but on occasions can be caught napping during “mental flights of fancy” !!!!

He is only in his early 20s and is fleet of foot.

My take on Guehi was he was good in his first season at Palace - quick ok on the ball and made the odd mistake. In general i felt he tended to match the person he was up against and generally did not give anything away. This season he has improved. I think in general terms he is now getting on top of the players he is up against. Not sure if this is because for the most part it is the third / fourth time he has played against the players he is up against and he is used to their pattern of play or and a combination of his maturity and his improved reading of the game. Either way his performances have unsurprisingly not gone unnoticed and it is easy to see why he is been linked with a move to a top 6 club.
I think the 50 - 70 million price range is probably about right. Personally i would rather keep him and build around him and off load some of our older players and save money in wages that way rather than cash in on our best asset's.

I really like Marc & think he is a great asset to the club, my only criticism of him is I would like to see him in a bit more of a "take charge" type of demeanour - a bit more Jim Cannon esque -

He's a fantastic player and I'd be sad to see him go. However, we need to face the fact that, unless our owners are suddenly going to start splashing the cash out of the goodness of their hearts, it's probably going to involve us selling Guehi or Olise in order to fund a squad rebuild.

It is very, very painful to say but it's this that strategy that worked so well previously for Leicester and is working now for Brighton. We just have to have faith in our scouting.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

A club like our cannot expect to keep hold of all our stars. We need to be prepared to sell a few of our better performing players - but this MUST (I cannot stress is enough) be mitigated by reinvestment, and the replacing the outgoing player(s) with more of the required standard. The Southampton model that worked so well was based on this - but their replacement step ceased to work, meaning the teams value and quality declined. But they showed what can be achieved when the process is working.

You also shouldn't let them leave all in quick succession. I can see us selling at least 1 high profile player from our 3 current 'stars' of Olise, Eze and Guehi this summer. Alongside Zaha leaving (I still think that is more likely than him staying) Guehi would make the most sense, losing Zaha AND Olise/Eze would seriously dent our attacking force. We have Richards who, if he can stay fit, is a decent replacement, and can always look for another defender.

Im not sure hes a 70m player if I'm honest, but he's certainly no less than 40m.

He leads by example, just as good as shouting and bawling,Zaha has cornered the market on that score.

Leicester might fall into this bracket too, to a certain extent.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I thought we had agreed to buy Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray, that is probably, Bo Lax, its not like us to buy a replacement, before selling.

Personally I think Richards is very capable of filling Guehi's boots if he could just stay fit. Also better in the air

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Might mark a bit tighter as well, Guehi has been a bit slack in the area at times this season
