What are the age parameters, I just realised Olise is no longer an under 21.

To qualify for being an U21 player and be available for the 1st team squad but without being counted numberwise as one of the maximum of 25 squad players, it is my understanding that a player must not have reached their 21st birthday as at 1st of January of the year in which the season starts, So as Olise was still 20 as of 1st Jan 22 he would be classed as a young player.

Andersen for me and Olise, mate.

(It's 'shoo-in' btw)

That reminds me of the IT Crowd episode where they argue over whether it is damp squib v damp squid. Apologies for my error.

For me, Eze and Eze

You're nothing, if not predictably consistent Lanzo.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Listen to Lanzo, he knows best

Doucoure 100%, been consistent, hasn't had a bad game and has pretty much had to do a 2 man job.

They should have a YMOY and MOY award. Only way Vieira would win one

Olise or Guehi. I'll go with Olise. A revelation this year.

No obvious POTY for me this season. Several players have had good short runs of top form but no-one is a nailed-on candidate for the season as a whole IMHO. I'm torn between Doucoure and Ayew.

Olise, though, is nailed-on YPOTY and I expect him to be short-listed for the PL award in this category.

According to Wiki he was born 12th December 2001 so he would have been 21 before 1st Jan 2022 but as the season starts the previous September does that mean he qualifies? Bugger me I’m confused with it.
