We should be okay as long as we don't concede any corners.

We have an abysmal record at Spurs, every year we turn up and have our tummy tickled giving them the easiest three points of the season. I hope Roy lets us play on the front foot because Wilf Olise and Eze could tear their very average defence to pieces

I'm hopeful for at least a point but am predicting (yes - heart over head) 1-2 to us.

We are a terrible match for Spurs. Their weakness (defence) is precisely our strength. If ever there was a game where the sensible approach was to throw the kitchen sink at the opposition, this is it. Their strength (attack) can be mitigated if they haven't got the ball and their weakness can easily be exploited by the sort of players we have, who run at defenders all day long. If we want it and play with the sort of confidence we've shown lately, I'd say a long-overdue win at Spurs is there for the taking. I'm not predicting it, but there's no reason why we shouldn't believe we can get something out of that game. Our confidence right now is sky-high; theirs is in the toilet. I'll be extremely disappointed if we lose 1-0 because we lacked the courage to give it a go. I agree with all of this....which is precisely why we'll lose. 2 wins and 3 draws in the league since 2005, there as close to a bogey team as we have.

1-5 to us (Kane to get a consolation goal). This game will be easier than against the lower teams. Suits Palace to play top six teams that feel compelled to press high up the pitch. It's the park the bus crowds we struggle more against. Easy win for Palace (unless of course they win).

This could be quite an entertaining game. Spurs are good going forward with Son and Kane, but seriously can't defend. I can see is exploiting their weakness but Kane & Son normally do well against us. 2-2 or maybe even 3-3.

Watch Spurs turn into world beaters against us when they have been utter tosh for most of the season.Son couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo all season but wait for Saturday. Please prove me wrong Palace as so would love to turn this lot over.

Kane's aerial ability an obvious problem for us. Couple that with the usual poor reffing and you realise they will win about 3-1. However, despite the score, we'll be in the game. Levy will cover enough bases to make sure VAR won't hurt them against little old us.

They do however look to be in complete disarray, bereft of confidence, cohesion, mission etc. so there is a chance. If we start well and perhaps even nick a goal, which this squad should be more than capable of against their faltering defence, there's always the chance they may just crumble. I fear the more evenly contested we allow the game to be, the more they will settle and assume their 'challenging for top 4' identity and ease past us.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
