I agree. Sadly I think Eze will probably go on the left based on the XI picked, which might minimise his impact, but who knows. I hope Richards makes the spot his own. He's really quick and I think could be the answer we are looking for. Fingers crossed. Those are the two standout issues for me too. Eze should be in midfield, where the play goes through him more and he can make late runs into the box when he sees a gap. I'm sure he'll still do well in the left as he's confident and in form, but I hope he'll be back in the centre soon. Now is the time for Richards to stake his claim for the only position in the back four where he could conceivably become first choice. Hopefully he does well and gets a good run afterwards. It looks like a team designed to avoid defeat first and foremost.

My only problem with Luka playing is the free kicks he will give away just outside the box, but overall quite happy

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Obviously team changes are a lot about resting players in a three match week. Hard to say if dropping Edouard is more about emphasis on defence or a fair reflection on what's he brought to the last four games. Wolves will really really push to win this and making it hard for them makes sense and maximises the chance of their conceding opportunities on the counter. Our ability to exploit those hasn't been in any way undermined...maybe strengthened with Richards' athleticism

Odd selection. Why would you play Luka ahead of Doucoure? How many yellows is Doucoure on? I suspect the Wolves midfield will just pass through and round ours.

Decoure is on 9 Yellows but even if he got his 10th Yellow after game 32 they dont attract suspensions - (& this is game 33)

I think it’s a decent side and strong enough to get a result which I think we will.
