We are blessed to have Eze in our team. His ball play is majestic, he is agile and he is strong as demonstrated by his second goal yesterday. I just love watching him play even if he sometimes he fades into the background. Although it is clear that Roy is giving him more freedom now and he gets stuck in more than he did under PV. One issue that will shortly be resolved is can he play as well with Wilf? Work a strategy of all balls lead to Zaha and he will be swamped, other players like Eze will return to their role of pitch spectators, and our performances will dip. Distribute left to him, right to Olise, or through the middle with Eze and Ayew - with no predictability - and you have a team who will qualify for Europe.

I remember being excited when we were rumoured to be signing him, even more excited when we signed him, and when he plays like yesterday it is fantasy football. I'm not quite Lanzo level in my infatuation with him, but it's great to see him enjoying himself again, as that's when he shines. He seems to be a very intuitive player, so it may just be Roy and Ray have limited their instructions for him in an attacking sense. I still harbour reservations about his ability to perform against the bigger teams, as his work off the ball still leaves a lot to be desired. Given 16-20 games a season we are the underdogs that is obviously quite a big issue. He still has a lot of room to develop and hopefully whoever is in charge next season can push him on to new heights as players like Eze and Olise are what make supporting a smaller team exciting; those little bits of magic in a relentless struggle to tread water. Perhaps you are judging him on his performances under Vieira (or lack of)? I genuinely believe you would not see any drop in form if we were up against man City yesterday. We would not have had such a comfortable second half as a team and the outcome would likely have been different, but he would still have been brilliant. Roy has released him.

Listen, Vieira was Crap, and Eze could be world class, you know its true, Lanzo said so

I was basing this also on his performances under Roy. In his first season he didn't provide any goals or assists against any top half teams. The first halves against Leeds and Saints showed how he can go missing. As I say, I love him and am always disappointed when he doesn't start, but I'm just saying what I see.

And I would say that you are absolutely right. A fantastic player who needs to learn to play at his best for longer than about 35 minutes a game. He needs to work on becoming an all round player rather than a bit part. Potentially though he is a world beater as hardly anyone has the ability to ghost past players like he does.

Complete and utter rubbish, that is what Vieira tried to do, his strengths outweigh his weaknesses, as Roy told him "just be yourself"

What exactly did Vieira tell him to do? You don’t know do you because as much as you hated PV you’re in the Canaries and not in either PVs or Roy’s changing room. You spout a lot of rubbish yourself.

Never seen Eze perform like the last three matches. The boy is mustard even if he doesn't turn up for 90 minutes. But maybe that is part of Roy's ploy.

I believe i was right about Vieira and i will be right about Eze, you just seem to talk in riddles, so is that what we are doing, carrying Eze.

Vieira was stupid enough to think Eze is a No8, thats his ridiculous opinion, Roy can see in 5 minutes he is a free spirit, Vieira would struggle to find his backside with both hands.
