Ayew is an Eagle. And always has been, even when the going got tough.

Contract extension.....for certain he deserves it. With the proviso that his future performances are as good as the last few years.

Ayew : One of my favourite members of the current squad.

Just goes to show how useless Viera was !
Everyone moaning at Ayew, but let him play in his favoured role and lo and behold back to the old Jordan we all loved

He's probably only in that position because of Wilf's injury.

has his off days occasionally but the guys a grafter & rarely gives up the chase, Schluup's another one who gets loads of grief, shoved into any gap but the one he's best at he'll have a shocker. Look how Eze's doing now he's a) getting a game b) played in the right position.

The team are playing with freedom, joy and rhythm.

Jordan is playing well and he is making good decisions recently that is making impact.

Everyone deserves credit for the play and momentum.

he has the attitude of a grafter and a winner.

No nonsense , no drama....just gets on with it.

Still keeps the ball too long and misses too many sitters/chances. A good squad member, but not a starter in a decent PL team.

Fantastic utility player. Genuinely two-footed, superb header of the ball, astute and can play anywhere on the pitch. Always puts in 110 per cent and plays for the team, not for personal glory - hence no strops.

I think Ayew’s form is such that he warrants a place in the team when Wilf returns.
He always works hard for the team, has more skill than he’s perhaps given credit for, and he offers a competitive edge which benefits the team.

When Wilf returns, for me it would Edouard who drops out with Ayew moving to the centre.
I watched Edouard closely yesterday and am at a loss to explain what he offers.
His contribution is minimal whether it’s holding the ball up, linking the play, closing down defenders , winning headers or making runs across defenders in the penalty area.
It could be argued that Ayew would offer a superior service in all of those important facets of the game.
Some might point out Ayew’s poor goal return, but Edouard isn’t exactly prolific.
Furthermore, Ayew was POY year last time he played centre forward under Roy and his all round contribution on the field is also of more benefit to the team than Edouard’s sporadic involvement.
Longer term we need a better quality striker than our current options.

Totally agree with this

He has been excellent over the last two games, he seems to have gained a yard of pace, and plays well with Eze and Olise, i also think that Schlupp has had his best two games of the season.

With respect, his 'assist' against Leicester was excellent too.
