Nonsense, if anybody bought Palace outright for the right money, Parish wouldn’t have a choice. The truth is nobody had offered the right money to buy.

Totally agree. Especially the highlighted bit. Im more than happy for it to keep going the way it has been. We've signed some excellent players who are worth much more now than what we paid for them, a whole new youth and training upgrade and a new shiny stand starting at the end of the season. Cant believe theres some who still constantly complain about how its being run.

The want for more, subjective footballing opinions and scrutiny are and should be ubiquitous amongst football fans of all clubs. Furthermore, we have a right, in being the most loyal financial contributors and emotionally connected to the club, to air opinions at the very least.

A new stand at the very least, if not a new stadium, a decent manager (who isn’t briefly back from retirement), reasonable refreshments ( and their price) and some new signings should be called for and expectations should be set on these being delivered.

Contextually, calling for a club our size to build a Norwood-based Nou Camp, spend billions on new players, Pep at the helm and Marco Pierre White behind the jump is a tad unrealistic at best if not just bizarre.

Spitting your dummy out over a lack of the above is absurd however. Parish can be criticised or mocked for his attire, hair style, cars, lack of wealth compared to other owners and perhaps slow delivery upon perceived promises, but the reality is we are quite fortunate to have him. We’ve been in the top flight over a decade now, a cup final, a younger team full of talent and for all the world, a world away from where we were in decades past and the unenviable situations of many other clubs, some bigger than ours.

It’s been a great ride and I still clench anatomical features in expectation of it coming crashing down however slowly, very slowly, we actually look to be on the rise. It’s a great time to be a Palace fan and Parish might just be the single biggest contributor to that. The world will never be perfect, and Palace certainly won’t, but we should all chill out, keep moaning as it’s healthy, but enjoy every moment while it lasts.
