Leicester better than table shows, happy with a point.

Not according to their fans!

I think it’ll end in a draw but I expect there to be more effort, more shots at goal and a better atmosphere than the last 16 games.

Mad to think we'll suddenly put in a complete performance over no evidence of one for... 6 months? Have we even had one this season?

Both sides bereft of confidence and goals so the first goal will be enormously important. A really, really scrappy 1-0 win will do to take some of the pressure off the Leeds game.

It’ll be tight, a bit dull and very tense, but under the circumstances as long as we win we won’t care. 1-0 to us, with the prolific Mateta scoring

I would guess if you asked the majority of Palace fans to pick their best team for the Leicester game it would feature Guehi, Anderson, Olise, Doucoure and Anderson.
However, the first 4 are on international duty and the fifth is injured.
These are also players who Roy hasn't worked with before and some are unlikely to be involved in training until Wednesday, or possibly Thursday if given an additional day off.
Roy likes to drill people in training and is methodical in his approach so it will interesting to see the team selection taking into account he won't have done much with some of the players.
I'd be more confident for the game if we could start with the absent players and also Guiata.
I suppose Roy will initially be quite reliant on Dean Kiley who provides the only continuity in coaching the first team from the beginning of the season.
Paddy has been involved with the younger players and has more than likely been working at the new training ground with less visibility of the first team players.

Leicester have been doing slightly better since January. They're not great but when you look at the squad it's better than ours. We need a massive transformation in attitude in order to win. The straw I'm clutching at is if the players were fed up with Vieira, then they might spring into action with Roy - despite the obvious failings of team and manager.
My first worry is poor selection, second: negative tactics, third: there were never decent subs or a plan b. Will any of that have changed? It doesn't seem likely does it.

He's playing well today. We can but dream of such quality. Look at the difference between him and Eze. Or anyone in our team. Also I would love Iheanacho or whatever his name is at Palace. Their weakness is defence - they can score. I always worry when teams go direct against us, or run at us. We're not strong enough. We're going to have to match their scoring to win.
However, we usually beat them. I always wonder why - hopefully again. If we win we'll all be going mad. If we lose we'll also be going mad. A draw will be nothing really.

Roy will play a 4-5-1. 2 poor teams with a bit of quality from Maddison winning the game for the Foxes 1-0.

Parrish wont care though he will have his barnet looking good and a nice suit on so he can look good on MOTD.

I can assure you Steve Parish will be exceedingly disappointed if we lose.

In terms of his appearance, there is nothing wrong with being well coiffured and 'Dressed to the nines'.

Agreed but he is taking this great club backwards. No investment in the team and going back to the manager he sacked 2 years ago!!

What SP knows about football can be written on a packet of Benson and Hedges.
