Evens on at least one rendition each of "You're going down with Southampton" and "you're playing Millwall next year". Palace fans 20/1 for "Let's pretend we've had a shot" and 30/1 for "Jordan Ayew, he scores when he wants". Vieira to conclude that we need to work harder on creating chances.

I watched the Leeds v Brighton match on Sky. As painful as it is to say, I think that Brighton have better players than us in almost every position. They seem to be doing everything we don’t….ie… creating chances, shooting, playing with a smile and unity with their manager. I can only see a 3-0 win …especially if he continues to use the two Js…Jordan & Jeff!

In fairness to Luka he did a lot better yesterday than I thought he would - Yikes. You must have had very low expectations then! We have one thing that gives me hope, and that's Zaha. He has 5 goals in 8 games against them in the PL. I've been more patient with Vieira than most, but if we're really passive on Wednesday then even I'll have one leg over the other side of the fence. If we go toe to toe and lose then so be it, but if we lose without laying a glove on them I think Vieira could be in trouble. Having said all that, I have a feeling we'll see a reaction we'll get a deserved 2-1 win with a brace from Wilf.

We've had a lot of luck in many of the recent clashes with the Weed. That makes me think a defeat is inevitable. There again, City could only put one past us and that a penalty. Then again City's finishing was dire by their standards. I have to go for a Brighton win but maybe not by a huge margin. What really grates is the fact that they're now a bigger club than us.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |
