No doubt the boy came to us on loan because the route to the Arsenal 1st team was too congested / he didnt get game time, Arsenal will have people watching him to see how he gets on with us & will see the same things we see - if Arsenal paid £12.5 million for him (if he carries on like he has been so far) unless we can get some kind of pre transfer window agreement in place soon I would imagine that £15 million will become £20 million or even £25 million very quickly.

From a discussion with a gooner supporter I think they paid £12.5m for him so no reason why we shouldn’t be able to get him for the same or perhaps £15m tops which is significantly less than Gallagher would cost us.

The lad certainly had a good game last night and he partners well with Doucoure. I think he is a better footballer than Gallagher from the little we've seen of him so far, but he lacks Conor's cheeky chappie attitude and grin which helped make him likeable.

For sure, if Lakonga was available to buy, we should go for him and, remember, he came to us because of PV.

We need to forget about about Gallagher, and I say that as one of his biggest fans while he was here.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Except for the small fact that it was stated that he’s not for sale when we got him on loan.

Much more composed on the ball. Paired up well with Doucoure. Give up chasing Gallagher for £40m and sign up Lakonga in the summer. Top player.

Absolutely. Gallagher's effort covered up somewhat limited technical ability, you certainly wouldn't want him showing for the ball in build up like Sambi does (see Leeds v Chelsea for what happens if he does...)

Sambi is exactly the kind of midfielder I wanted and I'm delighted with him so far. If we had anything in front and a manager who'd actually coach an attacking pattern or two the Doucoure - Sambi pivot would be purring

What a crock of s***

What is it you're not happy with exactly?

Hope Vieira is not blinded by his Arsenal time and gives the midfielder we got from Stuttgart some chances to shine. He is our lad, not a loanee...

Yes, it's all very strange. It's almost as if there is an agreement with Arsenal that guarantees Lakonga a starting place.

The constant putting down of our current player of the year, making out all he is is a press machine and a grafter,

The fellow has had a couple of games and he's already better than last season's best player, ha ha - ludicrous. And he's a loanee, will history repeat itself?

He's doing a great job as a DM but the wonderful thing about Gallagher is that he's a box to box midfielder who also offers a goal threat.I don't think Lakonga is a box to box midefielder yet, but maybe he'll develop that in his game?

He's a loanee, Arsenal will want him back, end of.

He was 'only' 12.5 Million, we need to find our own Lakonga.
