Is there any precedent for this, no early game and two late games. My feedback from UK is not very well received, many people have plans for Saturday nights that don't include football. I suppose on the positive side it will be inconvenient for the scousers to get back late at night Edited by HKOwen (24 Feb 2023 11.32pm) The early game was probably due to be Weed v Manure or Newcastle game but cancelled due to them being in final tomorrow. I think Sky have rights to pick 10 games per season for this silly time on a Saturday night.

Probably be easier to get to the ground and park up etc but annoyingly inconvenient. Not that it matters though we're only the supporters!

Just seen on an email from the club that Sainsburys is closed around the time of the game so I guess that should free up additional car parking Originally posted by Henry of Peckham

How long is it before someone ends up with a Saturday morning kick off ? Going back 41 years, we once kicked off away to Orient at 11.30am on a Sunday morning, and that was before Sunday football was even a thing

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

A 7.45 Saturday KO is pretty rare. I don't think it is a first but I don't recall Palace having a PL game at this time on a Saturday. Having said that I do have a vague memory of their being a Saturday evening KO back in the mid 60s. Anyway, I would rather it was earlier.
