A couple of days more and Corbyn would have been in power in 2017.

And he was a very effective leader of the opposition frequently defeating the government.

Starmer may achieve office but whether he gets the heart of the labour party I don't think so.

Wilson & Blair who both won successive elections, knew that labour was a broad church and included the left.

He will be elected on the basis that the tories have run their course and nobody could be as bad.

Your last line could be a prophecy gone wrong in 6 years

No one other than Leftist Jews and politicians care about antisemitism in the Labour Party.

It's all just political grandstanding nonsense.

What people should worry about is what a party who likes spending other people's money will do when they get in power when the piggy bank is empty.

Stand by for even higher taxation.

Also we can look forward to even more wokery and political correct nonsense. More pandering to minorities and more Remoaners lobbying to take us back into project United States of Europe.

Can anyone see them undoing the crazy world we now live in where you can be jailed for saying the wrong thing? Thomas Cromwell would be proud of making the country this bonkers.

If you think the Tories are bad, then you have a rude awakening.

But at least Labour are not antisemitic.

I thought the piggy bank is already empty. How come? after years of good old Tory rule? I thought they were the ones who could be trusted with the purse strings. Right.

I imagine you'd like to live in a country where there is zero tax, no?

I have to be careful what I say to you, I wouldn't want to get a yellow card, now would I haha.

I saw him today on the news but I still can't help you. Kind of nondescript.

I’m quite confident the tories have cash at hand. The difference between them and labour is they value cash flow. So spend and replenish. Labour will and have done badly by emptying the bank then tax the hell out of you and me just to survive. The tories found £400 billion for covid. Does that look like a government with no reserves ?

Of course Corbyn should be allowed to stand as a Labour candidate, he represents the views of a significant proportion of the party.

That used to be, but the crown has passed to the conservatives.

Of course, tbh Starmer is authoritarian and his team extremely dull.

Corbyn is a very able constituency MP and member of the Labour Party for all his political life.

The voters should be able to vote for/against him.
