And why would it? Textor and his backers are looking to make money if another club offers more money they will go with that club. The connection to us only works if it suits the investors. Wouldn’t it be nice if an owner wanted what’s best for his club(s) rather than his pocket. It’s largely why the success of teams like ours are pretty much down to pot luck these days. It’s also why Parish is one of the small dying breed of club owners who want to see the club move forward for football rather than financial reasons.

Life is far too short to obsess about a story made up in the press that has no quotes or evidence of truth in it. There are many many bigger issues to get cross about.
