We have to be up for it, and run our socks off otherwise defeat is inevitable.

Odds are on a Brighton win. But hope it's possible for the two new signings to gel quickly and make a difference?

We can cross our fingers, pray to Steve Coppell and hope they don't score.

Brighton are probably the most in form team in the division while we are probably the most out of form team in the division and will be without our best player.
All points to a Palace victory!

More seriously they are a very fluid pass and move team with two bang in form wingers.
Our full backs will have to be at their very best to contain them and we will have to track their runners all over the field.
The match isn’t played on paper though so I’m hoping we catch them on an off day or can obtain another Benteke style last minute win.

I think that was the views on Ian Wright but look what he did, our current choices are proven rubbish so we should try something new.

waddy Flag Highton,Melbourne 05 Feb 23 7.54pm

They have a better squad to choose from
They have proven & creative players
They have strikers who can control, play off, shoot the ball inside / outside the box
They have leaders on the pitch
They have mental tenacity to run at players ,they don’t sit deep they press

We ……… we wait ,sit off & we “hope” that’s what we have hope
as this is the words our players use every time they have an interview - they make it sound like bloody Star Wars ! “We hope we can improve for the next game “

Pat get a mentor into these kinds now that Derry has left - bloody drill sergeant even
cos it could have been 4-0 1st half at Utd.

Ok Head Palace 0 - 3 Brighton
Ok Heart Palace 2 - 0 Brighton ( yes both bloody set pieces again)

Forever Palace Proud

We may just have to take this one on the chin but I just hope the players get stuck in and it’s not embarrassing!

Maybe wilf can get in the dressing room and explain why 23k fans would take this as a win against any other. Maybe put luka and Hughes alongside deco. Luka gets it, deco is good and I reckon Hughes understands the rivalry as us against Watford must seem similar to him.

They've outclassed us, without winning, the last few times we've played them. We will not continue to get away with it. Zaha is talismanic against Brighton so we need him to be fit.
The reality is that we are treading water or even sinking while Brentford and Fulham have passed us. Brighton are almost out of sight.
