All the usual pessimism around here. But some very good points made regarding , Gallagher, and Richards.
Richards, it’s early yet but he has made a solid start, Gallagher , only low grade experience, yet became a full international in one season with us. All transfers are a gamble , but it would seem this kid is talented enough to interest Viera, a man with more football in his little finger than virtually all of us.So why the pessimism.
The club can’t do right from wrong for some, many have said it needs to be bringing in players with a possible resale value and on the whole when players have come in recently that label applies.
It is a pity we don’t seem to have a set of quality older legs to play most games with the young talents we seem to be gathering, maybe that might change if such a player became available. But as it is I hope this one comes off regardless as most reports are very positive.

Well he just got a red card, two yellows in 10 minutes (last one for celebrating in the crowd after a goal,) in the most recent Vfb Stuttgart match.

Maybe that will accelerate things a bit.
