Ancelloti joined Everton in Dec 2019 and his only signing that season was teenager Jarrad Branthwaite from Carlisle in a £1 Mill deal.

The following season, his last at the club, Everton's Net Spend was around £70 Mill, his costly signings being Ben Godfrey, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Allan and James Rodriguez.

I am not privy to information apropos the financial details in the contracts of Messrs Allan and Rodriguez.

Always suprised me how with Uncle Harry on the end of the phone he hasn't at least made a passable job as a football manager . His sackings at Chelsea and Everton though have now made him a very rich man so maybe some of the advice stuck . I suppose we will now have to suffer pundit Lampard on various broadcasts telling us how it is . But this for me is not about Lampard but the basket case of a club that is Everton . Relegation beckons without a new manager bounce but from what Ive seen from that group of players they will need some bounce

Don't like him and never have. The only possible thing that could have endeared me to him in the slightest is if he took Everton down.

I think everyone is fearing them getting a very good manager in and saving themselves but I have to say given their board's track record, I sincerely hope and believe there is a chance they could get another dud in. Here's hoping.
