As normal your post is massively wide of the mark. In terms of qualifications he holds more coaching badges than most and he was widely acclaimed for his ability to turn around Wales fortunes. As a matter of interest what exactly is your knowledge base when it comes to the man. Do you know him, have you worked with him? What has his fitness got to do with being a coach? Benitez, Allardyce, there are many who were interested more in coaching than what they eat in a restaurant. So what is your point exactly, or is this just your idea of a crap joke?
he wasn't wales manager and if he was so good why isn't he managing or even been an assistant at a good club? I know a guy down the pub who knows him both enter the same pie eating competition Benitez and Sam are not assistant coaches who should be in good physical shape. It's the same with an obese doctor trying to tell you about becoming fit/healthy you can't take them serious and it's not as if they have a valid reason to be like that. Have you even watched the guy he doesn't do anything and if he was as claimed great with tactics etc why are we not seeing it same old all the time and this can't be blamed just on manager.

Every year about this time, I post I can’t see where the next win is coming from, including the year we then went on to win 5 on the trot beating Chelsea on the way, we won 3 on the trot one year when I posted it……so I definitely won’t be panicking. You know what we’re like since promotion, just as we’re starting to look like we could get sucked in down the bottom we pull a result or two out of the bag when we least expect it

This is a great thread with some nice quotes. How about: Victor Frankl: “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” Re Palace I completely understand the panic notion as do we all. But to this I say the following. I gave up letting them ruin my week after we lost the 1990 Cup Final and I cried - I figured it was out of my control, 11 strangers booting a bag of leather around. If we win it's all I can think about. If we lose I focus hard on not thinking about it, it's too annoying and painful. On the team, Vieira/Roberts are short of players so perhaps we should wait until that resolves before we criticise strategy. Recent blip aside we have had a good season and a great 10 years. I beleive we have the best board in The Premiership, perhaps the country. We have spent the least of all premiership clubs and outshone some of those who are £100s millions down. At our level you have to spend wisely. Without a great striker (since Glenn Murray IMHO), we are also short in midfield (what a buy has Doucoure been eh, more of that) and although Wardy has improved enormously I don't think he's quite good enough at the top of the pitch. So we need a striker or two, more and better midfield cover, a right wing back and this team will be at the next level. Look at Fulham - Mitrovic is awesome and the one year Willian deal looked inspired (but is it building for the future...). If history tells me anything it's that we will get a few points out of the tough run coming up. Also I feel a couple of buys coming our way this Jan - Vieira has a world class rep especially in France and deep knowledge of the game there so we can outbid with more than money. Come on you little beauties...sorry, I meant COYP!
