I also had a fight at half time... But only with my conscience as to whether I should leave early after watching that first 45 minutes...

The singing really got going in the last 15 minutes, which made it worth staying to the end.

I left before the end. I was on the hill up behind the Whitehorse. I had no idea how loud we are. ‘Where you play we follow’ was ringing in my ears. It was so loud and I was way away by then!

I stayed till the end, knowing there were no trains & I was going to stroll back to West Croydon bus stand to get a 407 it seemed half sensible to let the crowd thin out - although to see SP emptying at 70 minutes was something new & I hope something I never to see it again -

Those that left missed something that made me laugh -
On about 85 minutes there was a bit of a scuffle for the ball in the tunnel corner, ref awards Fulham a free kick (again) we give the ref a bit of stick, he looks up at the Main Stand blows a whistle & waves his hand in an arc towards us -Someone shouted out, look the refs sent the whole stand off - lots laughed -
A kind of gallows humour moment-

It was loud and proud and better in person and as I’ve posted before; if it’s this season it’s the end of ten I never thought I’d see COYP

It was his smug grin as he walked off at the end that irritated me

Some of the hierarchy were not grinning.
Mouths forming downward crescents and a look of those facing disembowelment with a rusty knife.

The more I think I about it the more I think he was bent or had a bet on Fulham. I said after 5 minutes he was going to give us sweet FA.

The second yellow for Tomkins was a disgrace, the lino didn't flag for it and he was closer than the ref. Their second goal, handball and a foul. When do they ever disagree with VAR!!!!

He was giving them soft free kicks all the time and yet they committed 15 fouls to our 12, some of which were shockers. And he let several go as well. We have two players sent off fulham not one booking.

Yes, we were p!ss poor but playing against the ref as well we had no chance.

I hope we appeal tomkins sending off.

Had Zaha been marauding forward and a Fulham defender stopped his progress in such a manner our supporters would have been baying for a 'Yellow'.

Aproros the second goal, it is no doubt that the ball made contact with Mitrovic's hand but the referee clearly deemed it was accidental.Subjectivity enters the equation.

With regard to an appeal, Tomkins was issued with a 'Yellow', and an appeal for a 'Yellow' is not permitted.

If an attacking player’s accidental handball immediately precedes another player scoring, the goal will now be awarded, when last season it was likely to have been ruled out.

However, a player will still be penalised if he commits an accidental handball immediately before scoring himself.

You are absolutely correct regards accidental handball, however the law was amended for the start of last season.
What is deemed 'Accidental' is of course a matter of opinion where subjectivity enters the equation.

There was clearly a difference of opinion between the VAR and the referee and I suspect these parties have had or will have a debate about the decision !!

You seem to have forgotten about the shirt pull on Ward!! Mitrovic clearly intentionally ran into Tompkins arm. Perhaps every forward should now do this when defenders are shepherding the ball out of play
