I'd forgotten about that classic lol. The more relatable politicians attempt to be, the more it becomes obvious that they don't give a sh!t about the day to day lives of the average person.

You cant say that, its much too sensible.

What Sunak could do is reverse the bankers tax cut which they don't deserve or need.

He's a Californian Democrat in all but name, the actual worse type of politician IMO.

Do you mean the reduction in the corporation tax surcharge?

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Thanks Badger - my memory fades as I get older - lol

Back on Sunak and a bit of FYI my friend volunteers at the passage it's just around the corner from Victoria Station. It does good work for the homeless.

The exchange with Sunak was cringing but also understandable. What do you say to someone who lives in the street "how's your day been?"

My point is that we should not judge someone on that, of course it was embarrassing but unless you are used to speaking to homeless people I expect some of us would also be as clunky with our language.

I will judge him on his actions.

Give Boris his due, he was natural with that stuff, as anyone who was tackled by him will attest.

But it is a s*****w. Just as shame the alternative is every bit as unpalatable!

Update on Sunak post. I had a second conversation with my friend who volunteers at the Passage she pointed out to me the people in the picture with him.

What surprised her when she first volunteered was that variety of people they get. The assumption that homeless people are all drunks and druggies who have never had a job in their life isn't correct.

Many of the people she deals with had their own business's and were very middle class, one guy was a dentist. Sunak would have been briefed on this hence his clunky awkward questions about did you have your own business.

FYI
Harry and William have been volunteering there since they were young.

'Scrapping tax cut for banks for just one week could feed 1.9 million children, Sunak told'.

'Dishi Rishi' completely out of touch as was feared, 'Drippy Rishi' the poll bounce has not happened the tories looking around 20% that's serious.

Who elected him anyway, we didn't.

The House of Lords, the whole thing looks like a circus.

Rishi Sunak .....same as Leo Varadkar......

getting into office through the back door, even though the public do not like him. Unpopular on the streets but liked in the back boardrooms of the Elites.

And sending his Political Party off to the wilderness at the next election.
