Gone from where? Where I shop has compostable bags for loose fruit and vegetables.

it is good sport to 'borrow' bags for free IF they are laid out within reach & dont have to be asked for, top prize are the heavy duty Aldi style reinforced type (about 60p) just lift the bugger when the cashiers busy & lay it open ready for use, as you would normally. sometimes they ask if its yours or not,sometimes they dont & sometimes they know & dont give 2 hoots. As somebody else said, we've dozens in the car, in the garage & lurking elsewhere, bollox to the supermarkets. Kids,tired of being bothered by your pesky parents? Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

it is good sport to 'borrow' bags for free IF they are laid out within reach & dont have to be asked for, top prize are the heavy duty Aldi style reinforced type (about 60p)
just lift the bugger when the cashiers busy & lay it open ready for use, as you would normally.
sometimes they ask if its yours or not,sometimes they dont & sometimes they know & dont give 2 hoots.
As somebody else said, we've dozens in the car, in the garage & lurking elsewhere, bollox to the supermarkets.

I normally bring my own but over the years I have collected loads. I would be happy to bring them to the supermarket and put them in a large bin at the front of the store so other could use them for free.

when i actually remember to bring them with me, I always give a few away, if the person in front has forgotten theirs.
