Just for fun, put yourself in his boots - what would you have said Willo ?

We've written on an earlier thread that he comes across as a tad arrogant and disinterested when he's interviewed. I'm sure Willo has a point in that he finds the questions inane.

Personally, his attitude doesn't bother me if he continues to play with panache. If, like Goal Machine has written, it puts people off him, all well and good. I don't enjoy reading the all too frequent articles linking him with other clubs.

Hands off! I say and carry on responding to interviews with disdain.

The camera was on him as fans like to get an insight form the players directly. On this occasion the interviewer asked perfectly reasonable open questions which were deserving of a better answer from someone who has just scored a 94th minute equaliser who you expect to be ecstatic.

If someone can pull out the Millwall interview, on that occasion, I would agree that the questioning was poor - all closed questions which got one word responses.

As Willo suggests, I think he's very uncomfortable in front of the camera which is fair enough and pretty normal, hence why he would benefit from media training. It would be a good life skill to learn.

I remember his interview after we beat Millwall in the cup last year - it was about as insightful as this one!

The bloke needs some media training as he comes across as a total drip. These sort of interviews don't make you warm to him as a fan. If he's not careful he'll become the butt of jokes like Kane is. But that said, at the end of the day his job is to play football and he'd bloody good at that.
