I am suspicious that was just Russian propaganda however. I think they really love them both they just don't want the West to know that. Putin allegedly had pictures of Little Richard hanging up all over the Kremlin when he first took office.

It's amazing how keen people are especially when their employers hold onto their passport and wages until the end of their contract. I doubt Woke Southgate thought to ask about that.

Given you can go to jail for openly criticising things in Qatar under its "Fake News" laws I imagine it would be quite hard to get many honest opinions from the workers. Legally employers are not allowed to hold onto their worker's passports anymore (after someone pushed their Filipino cleaner out the window and it caused a stir) but given everything is heavily weighted towards the small (and largely very wealthy) indigenous population I imagine that law is probably not always followed. This WC is a joke anyway, even ignoring the human rights issues. I'm not sure I'm going to bother watching it, but not out of some form of armchair protest but simply because everything about it stinks, not least the fact it has been plonked in the middle of the domestic season.
