Ward's always been alright centrally. The issue starts if they launch a load of high balls or crosses into the box. There's no denying that Andersen's probably been our best player recently, but Ward always gives his all. I don't doubt his effort, but I think he might be found out by the speedy opposition. Tough start for us, 4 "big 6" clubs in the first 7 games, if you offered me a point I'd take it in a heart beat.

So being sent off for being the last man is only if you physically foul the player to stop a possible goal opportunity. A precedent has been set, which no doubt will be contradicted later on with another VAR decision.
