If not PV I would happily have Potter at SE25
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

It'll be interesting to see what Vieira does after such a long break to work on tactics, etc. There's even talk of Ayew playing in central midfield. As the season goes on the more it seems like central midfield really is where we're short on quality (which is what most of were saying all summer). Chelsea by contrast seem to have three internationals for every position, with about £500m worth of players on the bench alone. I personally hope we go 4-3-3, but perhaps with Ayew up top, as neither Edouard or Mateta have done enough to earn a starting spot and at least Ayew works hard. VG Ward Andersen Guehi Mitchell Doucoure Eze Schlupp Olise Ayew Zaha

i think it's getting our best three attacking players Wilf, Olise and Eze playing with as much freedom and as little defensive responsibly as possible, and i don't think you can do that in a 4-3-3

I think we need Ayew for his work rate, but Olise is just so much more creative; playing Ayew through the middle might work in games where we're likely to be defending for most of the game. He holds the ball up well, works harder than Mateta and Edouard at closing people down, and can dribble past people. Wilf also seems to do well in that role when we play the bigger teams, but then who do we play on the left? At least Wilf might give Reece James something to think about.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Who would Potter fear the most, Wilf, Olise and Eze as the attacking players, or Ayew, Mateta and Eduoard. and he would love just three in midfield, which is really 4-5-1 with an average center forward isolated, and our best attacking players in our own half
