On BBC site

Brighton's home Premier League match against Crystal Palace on Saturday, 17 September has been postponed because of a planned rail strike.

A new date for the game at Amex Stadium is yet to be announced.

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

Brighton only use public transport or bicycles in order to save the whales and so that they can comb and oil their beards on the way - so good on them.

They need to rearrange it for the midweek immediately following. No reason why not. Otherwise we’ll have 3 weeks between the Manure & Chelski games. Which is ridiculous.

International break so no chance.
When were the train strikes announced? Nothing done until they lost their manager

I assume it is agreement reached between both clubs and EPL. The problem is if we don't play and the other around us do then if results go against us we slip further in to the relegation zone and once there it is difficult to get out of it as pressure builds on the team and the manager!

Works both ways - probably would have been first game for new manager which is never an easy one for the other team. But right about league position. Unless we stuff Man U of course.

It’s a set up. Train strikes announced about 5 weeks ago so absolutely no excuse. Sussex Plod have got their way. Might find a few knuckle dusters midweek

Yes agreed, but of course Brighton have the points in the bag already so the effect on them is less severe, if we can stuff Man U that would be great but I have my concerns on that one!

Sussex plod and I suspect Brighton as well. Bournemouth playing away at Newcastle that day, no postponement.
I just get the feeling the PL really don’t like Parish
