ok thanks guys it has really helped so hard saying we are the best supporters then get shown pics of empty seats made me looks a little silly There are always empty seats at City. Pep even complained about it. They allocate loads to away fans to make up for it. Only because Spurs are doing well will they fill it. Spurs away fans! Come on - give it a rest.

Best of luck anyway. I remember trying to prove Coppell wrong when he called us fairweather fans. Considering our attendances he may have had a point. Not these days of glory, of course.

I have seen away fan attendance stats published at times before so there must be a record somewhere but i cant find them. I was at the game, as I am about 80% of away games. Truth is we never sell out the full allocation at Man City which is spread over three tiers which makes it a bit rubbish. We had a decent turnout... bottom tier just about full and about two thirds in second tier with one block held back... nothing in top tier. The 'big' clubs tend to sell the lot. We rarely do fully sell out in the north other than Liverpool and sometime ManU if its weekend although fantastic turn out sometimes like at Burnley last season... we are normally pretty poor mid week in the north. Its expensive but I have to be honest and think this is what marks us out from say the giants like Liverpool, ManU, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and the bigger clubs like Newcastle, Villa, Leeds...and yep Spammers. Pisses me off to be honest and think we should do something about that as much as banners and stuff at home. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra if it helped a young fan get to more away games. All the best

All the best Current fuel costs would probably bust the club if we subsidised 20-30 coaches - which I think is pretty common in the Premier League. We've certainly done it once or twice.
