Does anyone know if we can still “lend” our season tickets to friends by sending them a QR code? One of the benefits of the “season ticket Plus” is that you can share the ticket with friends. This implies that without the “plus” you can’t. If you have the Season Ticket + you can share your ticket and/or sell your ticket via the App, see the Fan Wallet section

I called the box office for a PDF ticket and they said "no, you have to pay the £50 extra to join ST plus" . I was told that you could then forward your ticket to anyone with a Palace account. This is no good if you want to pass on the chance to go to a neighbour, friend, or a relative that loves football but isn't a Palace member. Does anyone have reliable evidence that you can just screenshot the QR code, we did it once last season in an emergency, it worked but I dont know how reliable this option is? , thoughts ?

We used screenshots of the QR code many times last season and it always worked. Turn your NFC off when you next go in and use a QR screenshot, that will confirm whether it continues to work. I very much doubt that the readers can tell what kind of device the QR code is on and I expect paper tickets with QR codes still to be issued in emergencies etc. With the new ST+ fee the club will not be admitting that copied QR codes will work.

You're kidding me? So if I can't make a game, I can't get a paper ticket so that somebody can take my son and his pal unless I have a + ticket. Really? Palace have really done that? Surely they wouldn't?
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Did it a lot last season and it always worked fine, so sure it will be ok this year. You can always test your own screenshot to be sure.

Yeah, cos they're likely to charge people £50 to share their ticket without looking into stopping fans sharing it for nothing. I know they are inept and useless at the best of times but they're not stupid!

(side note, I went to BST in Hyde park, for that event, the QR code regenerates every c.30 secs. So if you screenshotted it and sent on it would be invalid 30secs later)
